History Of Tungnath Temple: उत्‍तराखंड (uttarakhand) के रुद्रप्रयाग (rudraprayag) ज‍िले में समुद्रतल से 3,680 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर तुंगनाथ पर्वत (tungnath ) पर स्थित है. तुंगनाथ पर्वत पर होने के कारण इस मंद‍िर का नाम ‘तुंगनाथ’ (tungnath temple) मंद‍िर है. यह देवों के देव महादेव (Mahadev) के पंच केदारों में से एक है. इस मंद‍िर में शिवजी (Shiva) के हृदय और उनकी भुजाओं की पूजा होती है.
