‘They push themselves to appease managers’: Australian Institute on wage theft

The Australian Institute Centre for Future Work senior economist Alison Pennington says many workers remain silent about unfair wages to appease their managers and keep their jobs while the Fair Work Ombudsman is “relatively toothless” at punishing employers for wage theft.
