00:00 Hey guys, thank you so much for watching and welcome back to my channel.
00:16 So today's video is going to be a makeup tutorial on this look that I'm wearing obviously.
00:23 This will be my last video for 2014 and I thought what better way to close my 2014 video
00:29 with a makeup tutorial.
00:32 I had worn this look in my winter tips video which I will link down below and the moment
00:39 I did that makeup look I decided okay this will be my 2014's new year eve's makeup look.
00:45 I've never worked with a blue smokey eye.
00:48 It's very tricky to be honest and you can go wrong so easily.
00:53 So when I worked on that makeup look I used a technique which is very, it's like an oldie
00:58 but a goodie and it is the scotch tape method.
01:02 So what you do is you just put a scotch tape here and you get this sharp line.
01:06 You get that sharp edge and a really sharp outer V. So that kind of gives you an uplifted
01:12 eye look not just for your eyeliner but for your entire eye makeup.
01:15 I have given you two options for the lip color.
01:20 In that video I used kind of a coral pinkish color.
01:23 I used the LACME 9 to 5 lip color in the shade coral incentive and I will show you how this
01:30 lipstick looks with this look also.
01:32 But the lipstick that I'm wearing right now is a wine lipstick and this one is from Colourbar.
01:36 This is called Deeply Mauved.
01:40 Yeah this could be a mauve, like a deep mauve lipstick.
01:43 So this is by Colourbar.
01:44 So you can use whatever options.
01:46 Obviously you can always go for a nude lipstick if you're not comfortable wearing dark eyes
01:50 and bold lips.
01:51 You can always go nude on your lips.
01:53 I used MAC eyeshadows for creating this makeup look, this eye look.
01:57 But if you don't have the same eyeshadows it's fine.
02:01 Use whatever blue eyeshadows you have.
02:03 You just need a light blue, a medium blue and a dark blue for the outer corner and probably
02:08 a pr-pr-prime just and probably a black eyeshadow as well.
02:15 And that's pretty much that you need.
02:16 With that note I take a leap to get to...
02:19 I just can't talk today my god.
02:21 So with that note I will take a leap today.
02:23 I hope that you enjoyed this makeup tutorial and I hope that you enjoy your new year party.
02:28 If you're attending it with your friends, with your family, with whoever.
02:31 Just have fun on new year's eve.
02:33 Enjoy with your makeup.
02:34 Play with your makeup and look your best on that evening.
02:38 So I will see you soon in my next video which will be next year.
02:42 That's very weird.
02:43 But yeah I'll see you next year and till then take care and have a wonderful time ahead.
02:48 Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel.
02:50 One for the last time in 2014.
02:53 And I will see you again in my next video.
02:55 Till then take care and I love you all as always.
02:58 Bye.
02:59 So to get started off I'm going to need a scotch tape and I'm going to place the scotch
03:07 tape extending out from my lower lash line.
03:10 First eyeshadow I'm taking is cork and this eyeshadow I'm going to place in the crease
03:17 just to warm up the eye makeup look because everything else is so cool toned.
03:24 Then I'm going to take bare study paint pot and I'm using this as an eyeshadow base and
03:31 an eyeshadow primer.
03:33 This eyeshadow is called moon's reflection and this as you can see is a light blue eyeshadow.
03:39 But the pigmentation on this eyeshadow is really really not so good but that could be
03:43 because it's a really old eyeshadow and I barely ever use it.
03:46 Then I'm placing it all over my lid area with a plastic brush.
03:51 This is called deep truth and it's a very pretty blue eyeshadow.
03:56 I'm using it to place it in the outer corner of my eye to the center of my eye.
04:00 I'm not bringing it all the way to the inner corner of my eye.
04:04 This eyeshadow is called contrast and this is the darkest of the three blue eyeshadows
04:09 that you have seen.
04:10 And I'm placing it only in the outer corner of my eye and thanks to the scotch tape I'm
04:15 getting a really good nice defined V area for my eye and I'm just going to sweep it
04:22 little bit in.
04:24 Then I'm going to take the same deep truth eyeshadow and blend it in the crease area
04:28 with a bigger blending brush.
04:35 Then I'm going to take max carbon which is a matte black eyeshadow and I'm going to place
04:41 this in the outer corner of my eye.
04:44 This is really, I mean I just like using black eyeshadows for smoky eye but you can skip
04:49 it and you can use more and more of dark blues if you wish to.
04:53 Take a clean blending brush and blend all the eyeshadows together.
05:00 Next up I'm going to take the color essence liquid liner and line my upper lash line and
05:05 again thanks to the scotch tape we have a really easy kind of a winged eyeliner.
05:14 Then I'm going to take faces long wear eye pencil in the color solid black and I'm going
05:18 to line my waterline.
05:22 And it's time to remove the scotch tape now.
05:25 Voila!
05:26 Don't worry about any messiness we're going to clean it up in a while.
05:31 This eyeshadow is called shroom and I'm using it as a highlight color placing it under my
05:37 brow bone area.
05:42 Then I'm going to take the contrast eyeshadow again and on a pencil brush I'm going to smudge
05:47 it under my lower lash line.
05:49 I'm not again bringing it all the way in the inner corner of my eye though my inner corner
05:54 looks very dark right now but that's not how it is because I'm going to take moon's reflection
05:59 eyeshadow and as you can see I am putting it in the inner tear duct area.
06:06 And that's the eye makeup look complete and now let's move to the face.
06:10 For my foundation I'm using two foundations.
06:12 I'm using Revlon colorstay whipped cream makeup and my Clinique super balanced makeup and
06:18 as you have seen I have drenched my makeup brush in color boss spray the day finishing
06:22 mist and I'm applying the foundation with that.
06:26 That way the foundation will be dewy more natural looking easy to blend and everything
06:31 that you need in a perfect winter foundation.
06:38 With the leftover product on the brush I'm just going to clean my under eye area.
06:43 For blush I'm taking max mineralize blush in the color gentle and I'm placing it on
06:47 the apples of my cheeks and blending it backwards.
06:51 For highlighter I'm going to take shambors skin highlighter and this is a very very very
06:59 pretty beige pinky highlighter.
07:02 I just love it and I'm blending it with my fingers on the tops of my cheekbones.
07:07 Now for lipsticks you have two options.
07:09 This one is Lakme's 9 to 5 lipstick in the color coral incentive.
07:13 This is my personal favorite lipstick for this look and this is what I wore in my winter
07:17 tips makeup look as well because it warms up the look because everything else on the
07:21 face is so cool tone that this kind of adds that extra oomph factor to the makeup.
07:27 So you can obviously go for this lipstick.
07:33 This next lipstick is by Colourbar and this is a really really really dark lipstick.
07:38 It's called deeply mauve and as you can see it's a deep deep deep mauve almost like a
07:43 dark plum colored lipstick.
07:45 You can even use this because it's you know it's New Year's party, it's night time and
07:49 it's everything glamorous and gorgeous.
07:52 So this is the makeup look complete you guys.
07:54 I hope that you have enjoyed this makeup look.
07:56 Please do subscribe to my channel and I'll see you soon in my next video.
08:01 Till then take care and have a wonderful time ahead and I'll talk to you later.
08:05 Bye.
