00:00 What's up guys, I just wanted to say before this video starts that I was thinking about,
00:09 well here I'm going to cut to the kind of bad news, I don't know, but I was thinking
00:13 about quitting YouTube just because I think I was a little bit too young and I didn't
00:19 really have that many people that watched me but some people helped me through it, like
00:23 more of my true fans, so thank you to them, I can't remember their gamertags on Xbox.
00:29 I know once Tucker, Eliana, Minecraft Girl, Savage Beast, but yeah so this is going to
00:38 be a good video, I'm not going to quit just because they got me cheered up again, so videos
00:44 will be coming back out but not as often, so yeah let's get straight into the video,
00:48 peace.
00:49 What's up guys, today I'm going to teach you how to cook Top Ramen or noodles or whatever
00:56 you call it, well, the good way.
01:00 So you're probably thinking, what is a 11, almost 12 year old going to teach you about
01:07 cooking?
01:08 Well, let's see, this is just a simple kind of a, simple cooking tutorial that I taught,
01:15 or my parents taught me from stuff.
01:18 So if you don't know how to make noodles and you always make it in the microwave, I'm going
01:22 to teach you how to do it more efficiently I guess.
01:27 So I'm using one of these electric kind of stove things, the resource saver Whirlpool
01:35 Gold, so what I'm going to, so the settings you're going to need for, I don't know if
01:45 you're using a gas or anything, but I'm not, I'm just ok.
01:51 So you're going to want to go ahead and turn it on, make whatever one you want, it's kind
01:54 of hard to see it but there's a white outline for them.
01:57 So you're going to want to make the setting up to at least 8, if you're using that, I'm
02:02 not sure but I think medium or high setting is good.
02:07 So that's telling you, you need to get water on it, and water about that much full, I'm
02:14 not sure how much that is in measurement, but that's just good enough to fit in your
02:19 bowl that you want.
02:20 So yes, you're going to need a bowl, you're also going to need some of this stuff called
02:23 handashi, which is, which makes soup taste really good.
02:30 It's a Japanese I think product, Chinese, so you can pick these up at like markets,
02:36 like Japanese markets or something like that.
02:40 You're going to need, you want a tablespoon, and you're going to want of course your ramen
02:45 and something to eat it with, which I use a fork.
02:48 So let's get straight into it, you're going to, well let me go ahead and free up some
02:53 space and get right back.
02:55 Okay so you're going to want to see it start to boil a little bit, like so, it'll get a
03:00 little bit hot above it.
03:02 So that's when you're going to want to, hold on let me set you up.
03:07 You're going to want to grab your ramen, first I would put the handashi, so you're going
03:14 to want to get a tablespoon full.
03:21 See I got a tablespoon, you're going to want to just go ahead and dump it all in there,
03:33 and it should just dissolve kind of, and then that's all you're going to really need with
03:37 the handashi.
03:38 You're going to want to go ahead and open up the top ramen.
03:50 Be careful not to get the packet, oh it gave me two packets, I'm not sure if that's normal
03:54 but we'll only use one just because.
04:00 Alright so shake it, go ahead, and you're going to want to open it and just start pouring
04:06 it in, like so, so you're going to want to do that.
04:10 I'm going to go ahead and do it real fast.
04:16 Okay now you're going to, since you hear it boiling, you're going to want to go ahead
04:20 and put it in.
04:26 So you're going to want to go ahead and put it in, once you've got it all in you just
04:29 kind of let it sit for a little bit.
04:32 It should stop boiling, don't worry the boiling is not bad if you're a cook, if you experience
04:38 in cooking, but yes.
04:42 The water will start boiling, and you're going to want to go ahead and wait until it breaks
04:52 up, so it's going to, it's still hard a little bit, so what you're going to want to do is
04:56 kind of let it sit there for not too long but kind of a tiny bit, so you're just going
05:03 to want to let the water soak into it and it'll start to get soft and that's when you
05:08 kind of break it apart.
05:10 So I'll get back to it when it happens.
05:12 Alrighty guys, so it's starting to get a little bit soft as you can see it seeps in, so I
05:17 went ahead and cleaned up a little bit and turned on the lights.
05:22 So you're just going to keep like poking it a little bit, that scared me, that was just
05:27 like a boil of water.
05:29 You're just going to kind of keep poking it, sorry my vocabulary or whatever, grammar is
05:36 bad.
05:37 So once you, you kind of just go like this and you break it apart, you know, back and
05:42 forth, and you just kind of play with it and break it up.
05:48 So you kind of just, you also want to get it soaked in because the flavoring is important
05:55 too, not just the way you make the noodles.
05:58 So you're going to want to go ahead and do that, you just kind of break it up.
06:11 This is probably going to be the easiest one of my tutorials.
06:15 So once you think it looks good enough and broken up, what you're going to want to do
06:21 is after that, you kind of just want to let it sit for a tiny bit more until it starts
06:26 to kind of bubble like that.
06:28 And then just let it, whenever you think, not too long because it'll burn.
06:34 So now that's good enough because it'll kind of get high rise, so what you're going to
06:38 want to do, go ahead and be safe if you're a child or whatever, and turn it off, and
06:43 then also turn it off, and if you have a lock, lock it.
06:48 Or you don't have to, but I do.
06:51 So the noodles are, should, this part I'm going to have to, okay, I'm going to go ahead
06:58 and put it in my bowl without, not on camera, just to, but I'll give you a tip.
07:05 When you put it in the bowl, make sure you kind of tilt it and use the fork to get the
07:10 noodles in the bowl first and you kind of start pouring it.
07:13 And any, here, I'll get into it once I, I'm trying not to jump ahead.
07:17 So I'll go ahead and put it in my bowl.
07:20 Okay, so like I was saying, you're going to want to, so all the excess you don't really
07:27 need, you can dump it out or do whatever you want with it, but right now I don't need it.
07:36 Let's cool it down with cool water.
07:41 And so once you have your noodles, you can, this is what it should look like, the end
07:49 result.
07:50 Let's try to get it to focus in, there we go.
07:53 So that should be the end result, and it should turn out pretty good, and it should be tasty.
08:01 So careful, or caution, it is hot.
08:04 So if you wanted to, the handashi gives it a little bit more flavor, but if you have
08:09 two packets or mysteriously got in there, I don't know if they usually do that, because
08:14 I barely started cooking, but I have some experience, and yeah.
08:20 So if you want any more good cooking tutorials, I can't do stuff like baking or hardcore like
08:28 with pots, and I can't like boil, like fish and stuff, but I can cook it on a pan, and
08:36 you give me any suggestions or questions on my social media in the description or you
08:44 can just comment, and subscribe for more content like this, because I may start, yeah I'm probably
08:49 going to start more on cooking tutorials now, if you like the way that I cook, then yeah,
08:56 it's good to always try something new.
08:59 Some videos, more videos will be coming out soon, and yeah, so enjoy your noodles, and
09:06 I guess peace out.
09:08 So enjoy, like, comment.
