Sindhi Chicken Biryani -The Perfect Friday Ritual | Quick & Easy Recipe

Onion 2 medium
Tomato3 medium
Potato 3 medium
green chillis (Sabz mirch) 2
Dahi 1/2 kilo
Chicken 1 kilo
Rice 3 glass
Shan biryani masala 1 packet
Kasuri meethi 1 tsp
Alo bukhara 3
Imli 1 tsp
Zarda colour mixed a little bit of milk

0:11 Start Preperation

Boil potatoes with half tsp of zarda colour
In a blender, add yogurt Coriandar(dhanya), Mint(podina), green chillis (sabz mirch) & tomatoes. Blend them

0:47 Prepare Chicken seperately:
Add oil in karahi and fry onions until they change their colour
Now add chicken and fry it
Now add blended mixture in it and cook for 5 mins
Next step is to add shan biryani masala and mix it well
Add Tamarind(imli) and Plum(alo bukhara)
Add boiled potatoes
Cook until oil is separated
Sprinkle Dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) on top

1:22 Boil rice:
Boil water, add Star Anise(badyan phool), Bay Leaf(tez pat), Clove(laung) then add salt and vinegar
Then add rice and boil until they are ready

1:50 Layering:
Make a layer of rice then chicken masala and then again rice
On top, add zarda colour mixed in little bit of milk
Sprinkle nicely chopped dhanya on top
Delicious biryani is ready to be mixed and served
