A biochemist and former research scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has been apprehended for allegedly firebombing the office of Wisconsin Family Action, a pro-life organization, following the overturning of Roe v. Wade. The man was also accused of vandalizing the office with slogans linked to a far-left extremist group known for encouraging terrorism. The FBI is investigating the attacks as "potential acts of domestic violent extremism."

The suspect now faces charges of attempting to cause damage by means of fire or an explosive. The FBI is urging anyone with information about the attacks to contact them. Jane's Revenge, the extremist group linked to the attack, has claimed responsibility for arson and vandalism at pregnancy centers in multiple locations across the country, warning that any anti-choice group that continues to operate would be targeted.
