It’s been eight years since the current-generation Mazda MX-5, internally designated as the ND, was revealed. As far as pure driver’s cars go, this is relatively attainable—it’s roughly the same price of a higher-spec midsize SUV, but nowhere near as practical or versatile as a daily driver.
