Credit Suisse ($CS@Switzerland) announced on Thursday that it would delay the release of its 2022 annual report after receiving a call from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday night. The Swiss lender was due to release the report on Thursday morning. On February 9th, Credit Suisse reported a 2022 full-year net loss of 7.3 billion Swiss francs ($7.8 billion) and forecasted another “substantial” full-year loss for 2023. In late February, Swiss regulator FINMA concluded that Credit Suisse “seriously breached its supervisory obligations” regarding a business relationship with collapsed supply chain finance firm Greensill Capital. U.S.-traded shares of Credit Suisse fell more than 4 percent in pre-market trading.
