INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT WUSUM HOTEL MAKENI.The Management and Staff of Wusum Hotel Celebrate the International Women’s Day in recognizing and complementing the effort of Female Staff of the hotel. The International Women’s Day IWD is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and Communities.In a purple event, the SHR Manager Madam Sarah Maina spoke on the importance of the purple color towards the day as she also highlighted the importance of the International Women’s Day especially for women that occupied jobs that society think they are only for men and not for women. She further motivated her fellow women with vibrant and exceptional motivations when it comes to Women Empowerment and Sustainable development in the society. Many Challenges faced by Women in the society, working places and matrimonial Homes were highlighted by participant and solutions were given to combat such problems as women.In Climaxing the event, the General Manager Mr. Cyril Oroy Macaully congratulate Madam Sarah Maina for organizing such occasion that aims to improve the strength and capability of their Female staff
