This is the heartwarming moment a couple got engaged - in front of Peter Kay dressed as Santa.
Steve Drury, 53, popped the question to Stephanie Mann, 55, on stage in Birmingham last week (17/12).
He organised the grand gesture by getting a note sent to Kay pre-show - and the comedian gamely agreed to play along.
The couple were then called up on stage under the guise of doing karaoke, allowing Steve to propose in front of the crowd.
The delivery worker said: "[Stephanie] was so shocked she didn't say 'yes' straight away - Peter had to prompt her.
"That was a bit scary but the whole thing was fantastic. So many people congratulated us and offered selfies."
Steve and Stephanie met in Norwich, where they now live, around four years ago.
He said he had wanted to propose for a while but couldn't think of the right moment - until he secured tickets for Kay's gig.
Steve wrote a letter pre-show and, telling legal secretary Stephanie he was going to the loo, found an usher.
The note was then passed to Kay, 49, who agreed to play along.
