More than a century after it first started spinning an old Yorkshire mill's mule is restored to action more at Leeds Industrial Museum. This Victorian spinning mule, with 300 spindles to twist fibres into yarn, would once have filled some of the region's turn-of-the-century textile mills with a distinctive cacophony of noise.
