Hundreds of birds injured during kite festival in Vadodara

Hundreds of birds were reportedly injured during the kite-flying festival in Vadodara amid Makar Sankranti celebrations. The birds were rescued by an NGO.
The founder of ‘Just Call Save Animals’ (NGO) said, “In the last two days, we rescued and gave treatment to 250-300 birds. This started in December month and since then we rescued more than 300 birds.”
"Various species of birds are seen but the most noticed one is the pigeon,” he added.
