Sensing Local’s primary objective is to make cities more citizen-friendly. The co-founders - Sobia Rafiq and Ankit Bhargava have been pursuing the idea of a “Liveable Bengaluru”. One of their
major accomplishments is the restoration of Malleshwaram’s conservancy lanes in which senior citizens can walk and exercise, and children can play. Other projects include accessible wayfinding in public areas like markets and metro stations.
