Finance Secretary Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno, highlights anew the importance of the mining industry in helping in the domestic economy's recovery during the Indo-Pacific Business Forum (IPBF) event in Makati City on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023. Citing the country's large mineral resources, Diokno said the Philippines can take advantage of this for its long-term growth, and also noted the possible gains especially now that prices of minerals in the international market are high.
