25 thousand ambulance workers walk out on strike

Up to 25-thousand ambulance workers walked out for a second time today, demanding urgent action on their pay and conditions. On picket lines across England and Wales, staff said they were at breaking point. But ministers criticised the walkouts, saying they put patients' lives at risk - something unions deny.
