This song came to me while I was working on my farm at Blue Creek. The chorus first, and then the lyrics... almost as fast. I had to go inside to record it on small hand-held device that I started using about that time to keep up with new song melodies. Clifton Preddy on fiddle, Bill McDonald on banjo, me on guitar, and either Zak McLamb or Charles Smith on bass. The Baysden family is singing background harmonies.

Songs used to come to my father like this. We'd be coming back from a Saturday deer hunt with his kennel buddies in the jungles of Panama, and he'd just make up little ditties and songs, whistling away. In the truck, just the two of us.

Mfd: guitar, vocals, song, video
Ryan and Taffy Baysden: backup harmonies
Bill McDonald: banjo
Zak McLamb or Charles Smith: bass
Clifton Preddy: violin
