India at UNGA voted in favour of a resolution on the mental health of UN peacekeepers. Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj on December 21 emphasised the importance and well-being of UN peacekeepers.
She also stated that ‘medical care and well-being of UN personnel deserve the collective and close attention of all member state’.
