First album by West Coast rural country-folk and swamp rock outfit Uncle Jim's Music with an emphasis on the rural side. The album conjures a laid-back storytelling vibe, often with a melancholy tinge imparting a bit of extra feelings in the songs of past times, lost loves and missed opportunities. The band included songwriter-producer Gary Nicholson. Uncle Jim's Music released two albums.
Gary Tobert Nicholson - acoustic guitar, electric guitar, rhythm guitar, vocals.
C. Edward Atchley - acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboards, harmonica, vocals.
Thomas Whitehorse Dunstan - pedal steel guitar, banjo, vocals.
Michael Mindel - fiddle, violin.
Wesley Pritchett - bass, vocals.
Robert Hibbitts - drums.
Old time feeling.
You and country days.
Dallas County breakdown.
There was a time.
Just came back to say goodbye again.
Comin' home to you.
She came out of the Southwest.
Ninety miles.
Hometown girl.
Kickin' thru the ashes.
The planner.
