Tesla launches sales in Thailand, heating up electric vehicle competition

Tesla began selling its Model 3 and Model Y in Thailand on December 7, 2022, its first foray into a region long dominated by Japanese car makers. The Teslas will retail for US$50,000 to US$71,000 (1.7 million to 2.5 million Thai baht).
