Three-piece German experimental jazz-rock band who released two album in the early 1970s. The group formed in Stuttgart by two Germans and one American. Compared to German bands Exmagma's sound takes more influences from the experimental side of US fusion rather than from the Canterbury sound. Exmagma is a very jazz oriented album, with frequents excursions in prog, psychedelia, avan-garde, some funk and some trippy hard rock rifts.
