“I started to give up morning toast with jam or honey and just had toast with butter. I would alternate with cereal or flavoured yogurt. Then after a few weeks I started having eggs and bacon without the toast. Then eventually I didn’t even eat breakfast once I chose to follow the intermittent fasting option. The goal of all of this was long term freedom from carb addiction. Being able to come off the addiction slowly was important for me so that I would not get that low carb flu.”
