West Midlands Police have released footage showing the moment officers snared a gang of teenage car thieves responsible for over 100 thefts last year. The footage shows a 40 mile pursuit reaching speeds of up to 132mph. Seven teenagers have been charged in connection.
West Midlands Police has announced that it has arrested a man and seized a car in connection with a collision on Islington Row Middleway last weekend. He was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving. Police are appealing for specific witnesses to get in touch.
The least deprived areas of Birmingham have been released in the latest census 2021 results. Harborne East topped the list where 63.9% of residents were found not to be deprived. Following from that was Little Sutton and Roughley, and then Central Birmingham.
