The Sons of the Pioneers - album South of the border 1968

  • 2 anni fa
The Sons of the Pioneers are a true all-American institution. Since 1933, between various line-up changes, and through the decades they have reached the 2000s. Through all the years The Sons of the Pioneers have always stood out for the great quality of songwriting, for their vocal skills, and for their innovative arrangements, always remaining close to Western country folk music, with episodes in traditional music across the border, as in case of "South of the border", Western music and lyrics heavily influenced by Mexican traditional music, with mariachi sounds always ready to pop-up here and there.
