PRESENTED BY JON RAY
After playing plazas, coffee shops, bars, rooftops, metro's stations, and street corners around Europe, I have come back to the United States to record my EP.
..I'm just indulging in the simple pleasure of good company, good wine, and good music. Cheers

Biography
Stella. The North is a band formed in Texas but with roots from around the world. Their music is filled with melancholy lyrics and indie rock rhythm tangled in Venezuelan and Spanish influences. They play to give people a moment of sincerity, as they believe music is the most honest glimpse of themselves. They play with their souls and captivate you with their poetry.

Description
Stella. The North is an indie/rock band formed in Austin, TX. Began as just Sisi in her quest to create a sound bigger than herself and tell profound stories of truth. Having first recognized the potential to collaborate while having met in Barcelona, Spain, Sisi and Saul now form a sound filled with dark tones and melodic rhythms that capture the honesty of music. Saul is originally from Valencia, Spain, where he had spent most of his time in a band called La Pulga Coja traveling as a musician and eventually finding his way to Texas. Sisi, a military brat with Venezuelan family, is a bit from everywhere; eventually ended their military travels in Texas. After graduating college she moved to Europe to work in chemical fermentation/winemaking by day and play music as a street and metro musician by night. Their sound can be defined as poetic story telling from Sisi perfectly complimented by Saul's harmonies and deep textured Spanish/flamenco style singing and rhythmic blues guitar playing. They are currently based out of Austin. They are in the process of recording their first EP that is set to come out this December.

Sisi Berry was previously part of the Jeremiahs, a band that grew out of College Station, Texas. They performed and shared stages with artists such as David Ramirez, Lovedrug, Tim Halperin, Kristy Kruger. Texas A&M University Battle of the Bands Winners in 2011 and released an EP.

Saul Arteta was one of the co-founder of Spanish bands Samsara Project and La Pulga Coja with whom he toured extensively through Spain. He recorded the album "Antipulgas" with La Pulga Coja which received national release in Spain and Mexico.
