A man has today been sentenced to 19 months in prison after stealing a car which contained the owner’s dog and leading officers on a terrifying pursuit.
Nicholas Oakland, 30, plead guilty to dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance and causing unnecessary suffering to an animal at York Crown Court.
