English punk band Faction began as a small gang in Hackey, London. The band found inspiration in the Hackney/East London/Squat scene as it had become their new home and were introduced to The Mob, Zounds and Blood and Roses, which were followed by the Kill your Pet Puppy fanzine/collective. Soon after the release of the cassette "Through the window" the 14 years old singer Sue left the band who after having struggled several new singers found Pip and began to work on an EP released by Spiderleg label.
