China’s tallest tree found inside a forest in Tibet is as high as a 28-storey building

An 83.4-metre-high (274ft) tree found inside a Tibetan forest is reportedly the tallest in China. As high as a 28-storey building, the Abies ernestii var. Salouenensis plant was measured after a team of researchers in the Tibetan autonomous region reported sightings of trees as high as 75 metres (246ft).
