Boats and tractors on streets of India’s Silicon Valley as flash floods bring Bangalore to a halt

People were seen travelling on boats and tractors through the streets of Bangalore on September 6, 2022, after flash floods hit the city often described as India’s Silicon Valley. Heavy rains were predicted until September 9 as IT parks and roads remained flooded in the capital of the southern state of Karnataka.
