Chaos and confusion marked rush-hour traffic in Bengaluru as several parts of the city were inundated following heavy rain. The Outer Ring Road and major arterial roads were inundated, throwing traffic out of gear.

New details have emerged during the investigation of the Sonal Phogat murder case with the police claiming that key accused Sudhir Sangwan was running an extortion racket in Phogat's name. Police also said Sudhir had access to Phogat's lockers and passwords.
