Miss England finalist makes history as pageant’s first makeup free contestant
Miss England candidate Melissa turns into the main in the exhibition's 94-year history to contend without cosmetics.
A governmental issues understudy has wowed the appointed authorities of the Miss England excellence event by swaggering her stuff totally cosmetics free.
Melisa Raouf, 20, from Battersea in London, said she needs to advance internal excellence and challenge the magnificence standards propagated via online entertainment.
Following her unabashed appearance at the semi-last of the opposition on Monday (22 August), Raouf will go up against 40 different ladies to be delegated Miss England in October.
Coordinators of the occasion recently presented a cosmetics free demonstrating round to the opposition, however say it is whenever anybody first has decided to contend without cosmetics.
Miss England coordinator Angie Beasley said she presented the round in the wake of becoming stunned at how much cosmetics and filler candidates had.
"This is whenever I've first seen a hopeful totally cosmetics free contending in a semi last and she said she felt enabled against the wide range of various candidates," Beasley said.
"I'm in support of cosmetics to improve your regular magnificence yet there's no requirement for young people to wear It so thick that it seems to be a cover."
She added: "I hope everything works out for Melisa of karma in Miss England 2022."
