Punjab: Farmers continue indefinite protest outside Verka milk plant in Ludhiana

Members of the Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (PDFA), Bharti Kisan Union (Kadian) and other unions continued their indefinite protest outside Verka milk plant on Ferozepur Road on August 26.
The agitators demanded the state government to increase the milk procurement price. They also alleged that the AAP-led government promised to fulfil the demand of dairy farmers but failed to do so.
