The Automated Ball and Strike System, otherwise known as the robotic umpire, has made its debut in Triple-A ball this season. We spoke to Eric Edelstein, President of the Reno Aces; Rob Friedman, Founder of Pitching Ninja; Tom House, renowned pitching coach; and Rocky Collis, former minor league pitcher and CEO of sports consulting group Mustrd, to find out how the technology has been faring and what the odds are that it will make it to the majors.
