Pics of Hurricane Wilma on 10/25/05 with storm surge damage, and Hurricane Ike on 9/9/08 which was just a media event and a 'joke' of an evacuation.
I was trapped inside for 6 hours in Wilma, but didn't sustain as much damage as did some of my neighbors as you can see. Mid-town Key West suffered horrible water damage with a 4' to 5' surge and all vehicles and many businesses and homes were lost.
