Arctic Corsair and Spurn Lightship undergo restoration in Hull

Two of the city’s ships, the Arctic Corsair and Spurn Lightship, have reached the next stage of the restoration as part of Hull Maritime. The two ships have been placed in the dry dock at William Wright Dock and will undergo the shotblasting process. This important process will remove the old paint back to the original steel, removing any corrosion before primer and new paint layers are applied.
