Rational evidence for a life after death

Shouldn't a person who killed millions of innocent people and died peacefully of his own free will face no consequences be punished? How many other people are there who bomb and corrupt entire countries and get away with it, living a comfortable life in this world? Shouldn't they be punished?
A life filled with misfortunes, calamities, and a morally flawed world demands justice, and absolute justice is not possible without a second life. For example, a poor crippled guy lived all his life in misery and died the same way. There must be another life, or else justice wouldn't prevail. How can global physical principles have order and equity while moral laws do not?
