Muhyiddin: Bersatu will submit name of Zuraida's replacement in cabinet to PM

Bersatu will submit a name to the prime minister soon for appointment as a Cabinet member to replace Zuraida Kamaruddin, who had announced her resignation from the party on Thursday.
Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin said the party is doing this because Zuraida’s position as Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister is part of the party’s quota.
He also revealed that Zuraida’s party membership was revoked immediately when she had declared her exit from Bersatu earlier today - in reflection of Clause 10 of Bersatu’s constitution.
