All Bersatu MPs and state assemblymen have been issued letters from the party leadership with 14 days to respond, failing which their membership will cease, said its party secretary-general.
At a press conference at Perikatan Nasional’s headquarters on Friday (May 17), Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin stressed that the six rogue Bersatu MPs and the sole assemblyman who declared support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, will receive “additional instructions” in their letters.

02:09The instructions that we have sent are the instructions that we want them to know
02:18that as MPs, they have a responsibility under the United Nations
02:25to be loyal to the party
02:28and to support the party's base and objectives,
02:33especially those under Article 91.
02:37Secondly, we want them to know that
02:42the United Nations has established that it does not support or support the work
02:49that was proposed by Dato' Sri Anwar Ibrahim as Prime Minister.

02:59that the United Nations does not support any prime ministers or ministers
03:05or participate in any country's work that is not approved by the United Nations.
