Stars were out for the 29th Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas last night. Sean 'Diddy' Combs hosted the award show and took the stage to perform. Machine Gun Kelly, Silk Sonic, Elle King and Miranda Lambert, Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine, Dan + Shay, Latto, Morgan Wallen, Megan Thee Stallion, and Travis Scott also rocked the stage. Big winners included Olivia Rodrigo, who won seven awards for Top New Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Billboard Global 200 Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Album. Ye (formerly Kanye West) won six awards, more than any other male artist this year. He won Top Christian Artist, Top Gospel Artist, Top Christian Album, Top Gospel Album, Top Christian Song, and Top Gospel Song, bringing his BBMA total to 17. The three artists with the most BBMA honors each added multiple awards to their names last night: Drake won five (Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Male Artist, Top Rap Album), bringing his total to 34. Taylor Swift won four (Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Country Female Artist, Top Country Album), bringing her total to 29. Justin Bieber won five (Top Hot 100 Song, Top Streaming Song, Top Collaboration, Top Billboard Global 200 Song, Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) Song), making his total 26. Doja Cat won for Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Female Artist, Top R&B Album, and Top Viral Song. Dua Lipa took home Top Radio Song and Top Dance/Electronic Song with Elton John for their song 'Cold Heart.' Megan Thee Stallion scored Top Rap Female Artist and Morgan Wallen for Top Country Male Artist. Janet Jackson made a surprise appearance to present the Icon Award to Mary J. Blige.
