Beijing students protest Covid-19 curbs on campus in rare act of defiance

Hundreds of students at an elite Beijing university protested against strict Covid-19 curbs on campus, in a rare show of defiance. Anger mounted over the weekend at Peking University after the school tried to erect a wall and banned food deliveries. Across Beijing, most restaurants and public spaces have temporarily closed and millions of residents must work from home and face daily testing. China is the only major country still adhering to a rigid zero-Covid policy.
