Bristol Airport has apologised to customers who were impacted by above average queue times for security early on Tuesday. Passengers were left angry by what was described as ‘massive queues’ to get through security, with pictures showing people standing in line outside the terminal.

A major new TV drama will be filmed in Bristol - as plans have been unveiled to build a temporary film set at a Patchway industrial estate. Production company Bad Wolf wants to film parts of its adaptation of The Winter King, in Patchway, and has submitted proposals to South Gloucestershire Council.

And Two Bristol parks have been named in the top ten most valuable recreation sites across the UK. The Ashton Court and Blaise Castle estates were both featured in a study of the nation’s green spaces.
