【China Chic】Special Programme on 2022 UN Chinese Language Day

Videographers, musicians and aspiring creatives mark the 13th United Nations Language Day an event to remember! In celebration of Chinese culture and history, this exciting programme is held on the day of Grain Rain, one of the 24 solar terms on the Chinese lunar calendar. This event is organised by the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organisations in Switzerland, and China Media Group (CMG). In celebration of this year's United Nations Chinese Language Day, United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), and the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations at Geneva, together with the China Media Group (CMG), jointly launched 2022 Chinese language Video Festival on February.

On the theme of "China Chic", this year’s festival features a modern take on traditional Chinese heritage, highlighting interactivity, innovation and youthfulness. The event has attracted hundreds of video works from young people around the world. Parts of the award-winning videos are included in the 60-minute special program which will be streamed on 20 April at 4pm CET/10am BJT/3pm GMT.
