Barisan Nasional has won the Johor polls with a two-thirds majority.
Election Commission (EC) chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh said BN has secured a win in 40 out of the 56 seats contested, while Pakatan Harapan took 12 seats (Dap with 10, PKR and Amanah with one each), Perikatan Nasional winning in three seats and Muda securing its maiden win in an election.
