Srinagar: Grenade Lobbed In Market, One Dead In Attack

On March 6, terrorists threw a grenade in the middle of Amira Kadal market in Srinagar. One person was killed and at least 23 others were left injured in the tragedy, Reported NDTV. 71-year-old Mohammad Aslam Makhdoomi lost his life in the attack. Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, tweeted, “We are firmly resolved to dismantle terror ecosystem & defeat terrorist menace that continues to be perpetrated by neighboring country.” Mehbooba Mufti, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister tweeted, “People of J&K have been paying with their lives & sadly neither India nor Pakistan are doing anything to end the conflict & stop this bloodshed.” Omar Abdullah, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister tweeted, “I condemn this deplorable attack in the strongest possible terms.” Watch the video to know more.
