the rolling stones - aladdin story (aka so divine)(instr.) - stereo edit

Edit for headphones. I cut out the horrible, dreadful, gruesome, terrible, appalling, awful & atrocious sax. There should be a law against that instrument of vileness for your ears... So I cut out one minute and fourty eight seconds of pure ugliness; the only five remaining sax "licks" * where necessary for the continuity of the song. Enjoy & be warned...

From the bootleg album "Trident Mixes" by 'Dog n Cat Records' (DAC-052).

First titled "Aladdin Story" and first recorded as an instrumental in June, July and October, 1970, then re-worked on in late 2009 and early 2010. Released on May 17, 2010 on the new remastered, deluxe version of "Exile On Main Street" as "So divine" (that song's line-up is: lead & backing vocals: Mick Jagger. Electric guitars: Keith Richards & Mick Taylor. Bass: Bill Wyman. Drums: Charlie Watts. Piano, organ & marimbas: Nicky Hopkins. Vibes: Jim Price).

* one can hardly name it "licks", sounds more like occupational therapy...
