Indian-controlled Kashmir has world's only floating post office

The Indian-administered Kashmir has the world’s only floating post office, a 200-years-old houseboat on the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar.

Set up during the British rule in India, the post office has survived throughout the years because of its charm. The boat is not limited to postal services. It also has a small museum, where colorful stamps from the 1980s are put to display, along with a collection of rare philately stamps.
