The former CJI of India, in his autobiography, has specifically mentioned the historic verdict on Ayodhya. The book contains two photographs of Taj Mansingh, a five-star hotel in Delhi, in which the five judges of this bench are together for dinner. The caption between these two pictures is written – ‘Celebrating the landmark Ayodhya Verdict’ i.e. ‘Celebrating the historic Ayodhya Verdict’. In the book, Justice Gogoi has written about it, ‘In the evening, I took the judges to the Taj Mansingh Hotel for dinner. We ate Chinese food and shared a bottle of the best wine out there.
