AK-203 rifles to be manufactured in India

The manufacturing of AK-203 rifles will begin in India as the Centre has given the final clearance to the project, which is a joint venture with Russia. An Indo-Russian unit will be set up at Korwa in the Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh to manufacture over five lakh AK-203 assault rifles, sources said.
