Labor announces emissions reduction target of 43 percent by 2030

Federal Labor is committing to cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 43 percent by 2030 if it wins government at the next election. It's slightly lower than the 45 percent target the ALP took to the last election, but higher than the coalition's long-standing target of 26-to-28 percent.
