Record number of overseas workers flee exploitation

About 19,000 workers from the Pacific and Timor Leste are filling unskilled and semi-skilled workforce shortages in rural and regional Australia. This year a record number of oerseas workers have run away from their approved employers to work illegally, amid claims of poor living and working conditions.
