The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) held a Kisan Mahapanchayat in Lucknow on Monday. BKU leader Rakesh Tikait said that even after the Centre announced its decision to repeal the farm laws, there are still other issues to be resolved. The mahapanchayat had been planned before PM Modi announced that the Centre had decided to repeal the laws on Friday. Farmers gathered for the programme in large numbers to press for their demand for a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP), among other things.
